Scantronic fault?

we have a scantronic 9448 that has sounded off when mains power was restored following a power cut.I've used my code but it doesn't respond,how can I stop it please before the neighbours get really upset.

I hopefully await your advice.

The control panel can retain all programmed information and access codes if both mains and battery power fail. When power is restored the panel will simply need resetting with the customer or engineer's access code.

Write the date on the new battery for future reference,aim at changing every 4years,5max.

Nice one the default code did the trick yeh!,all appears normal now with power and day on,do I still need that battery now?.

I'll get the manual tomoz, thank's for your help chaps.

Try entering 1234,

What does the keypad say, lights etc?

and check the fuses inside with a meter,a duff battery can cause a fuse to blow replace any blown fuses with same type

the battery inside the control panel needs replaced turn off mains power before u open the panel,replace the battery like for like,you may have to reprog the panel,it may have reverted back to fac cons,ur code will now be 1234 to stop the alarm untill u reprog ur old pin back in key in 1234
