Without model no is difficult but if you have condenser dryer button in doorway is to unlatch the bottom kickplate to access the condenser Therefore if the kickplate is not tightly shut the button wont go down and stops the door closing. Open the kickplate using button then reclose it tightly shut if button does not go down you have a problem with the mechanism. Cheers
