Heater bracket loose?

Hi I have a Hotpoint WF860P washing machine and the heater bracket is loose and rubs on the drum when it turns. How do I tighten the bracket, will I have to remove the drum to do it. Can I just leave it as it is, will it cause any damage, or cause a fire. Thanks
