Hoover TV630 001 start problems?

When I press start on our tumble dryer, the red light comes on but it just makes a buzzing noise. If I hold the start button in, the dryer will 'tumble' but as soon as I let go it stops. Sometimes it doesnt 'buzz' and now and then it will start, well it did until the weekend. Now the only way to get it going is to tape down the start button (not ideal I know).

I believe the .22uf 275v capacitor may need replacing and am thinking of getting one from Maplins and replacing it myself (will it need soldering?). Either that or the relay board needs replacing.
