my kenmore sewing machines is older but a easy machine?

My machine is bunching up on the underside. Please help me (model no.385-12102990

if your machine is bunching up on the underside it is because the tension is not set right. I have a kenmore as well and had the same problem when my mom gave it to me. I now am having a problem with it working at all. The motor is running and the wheel spins but the needle does not go up and down. The inside of the machine is emaculate. If you have any ideas on how to get it working let me know. amosity82@hotmail.com
