Mend Kenmore Machine Fabric

Kenmore Sewing Machine will not feed fabric?

While everything sounds like it is running smoothly, the fabric will not feed. I have adjusted the presser foot tension, changed needles and done all the obvious things to remedy to no avail. Help please!

Hello Elizebeth,
If you have a drop feed mechanism make sure you nhave not dropped the teeth down, make sure you have set the stitch length, raise the presser foot and turn the balance wheel by hand to see if the teeth are coming up above the needle plate.
