How can I fix my old Pyronix Octagon alarm system?

that last line victoria would get us guys into a whole lot of trouble if we had used it !!!!!

New battery time.
If you are confident enough, isolate the mains to the panel and remove the cover, the outside will probably sound, ignore it. Get all the battery details, 2.8AH or 7AH ect and then relid and turn the mains on and then enter your code.
Order battery and then do the same as above but this time replace the battery.
Now the tricky bit, the panel may default to original settings,you should be lucky if it was set up as normal. Only the code will change. 1234 IIRC or 5678.
