Mend Honeywell Vista 20P Alarm System Keypad

Honeywell vista 20P LCD keypads?

Hello all bit of a problem with above keypads x4.

All keypads are sort of unreadable,segmented letters missing that sort of thing but are all backlit, keypad one responds almost to keypresses but 2,3,4 not responding at all.
My monitoring contract has now lapsed and I have no immediate intentions of renewal.Could this be the problem?,has ADT done this intentionally to get me to renew?.

I need help pls!

as someone once said,(i think it was oscar wilde)i am remarkedly ignorant on things that do not interest me,in my case,its galaxy,veritas,and the rest of the crap out there,so mate dont feel you have to go,but if you do go,then have a great life,i will miss you on here regards to your much better half :-)

No worries E , thought the Vistas were "clean". Know Castle do client defaults too.
A Gal can be name changed and reused :D
IIRC they strip out stuff.

Yep power down Keith, and fit new battery you should be ok as Alarm has said :)

Were the Vistas loaded with Aunty defaults? I do not recall them, but could be wrong. I thought they did that with the Galaxys?
However just downpower and replace the battery and repower, you should be alright.
Google is your friend here!
