Mend Honeywell Accenta 6 Alarm

replace accenta 6 keypad?

if i replace just the keypad will the system require any re programming. once the old keypad is removed will this cause the alarm to activate and if so how can this be avoided.

I have a accenta 6 key pad that is working but the second key pad in the garage doesn't work there are no lights on only the key pad numbers are on.

Put it into Engineers, then remove the keypad fuse.
Fix new keypad and refit fuse, job done.

Warning mains electricity is in the panel, isolate , test and take care. If vunsure get in a professional.
