Had the same problem. I think it could be a bit of dust on the objective lens of the cd player. Take a cotton swab, wet one end with a bit of alcohol (ethanol). Gently wipe away at the lens and surrounding components. Wipe around the mount, and the internal areas. Let the thing dry then try it again. Make sure you do so gently as the components are delicate, and you dont want to inadvertently snap or break something. Hope this helps!
