the tension dial knob on my sewing machine when the bits all fell off ?

i assume the main unit is still on machine so here goes.working from machine body you fitt tension disc with high part towards outside,if there is a flat disc it will go on next and then the other tension disc with high part towards machine.next goes washer with piece in center,then tension nut and then dial.set your tension without dial and then put dial back so as to show 4 or 5 at selected setting.hope you get it right
