peugeot 307 loosing coolant any ideas ?

Sounds like your heater radiator, or it's connections are corroded. Try Radweld, add into top of the main radiator, not the expansion tank, and then run the engine for about 10 mins without driving, with the heater control on Full/HOT and aircon off. It will get warm in there. Do not leave your car unattended with the engine running, as it will be nicked. Costs about £7 from any car spare shop.

My daughter had this happen and the answer was a new heater matrix. Not a cheap repair I'm afraid. Several hundred pounds with all the labour involved at the Peugeot main dealership.

try a k seal in the water as this sealed mine and its still working ok.its a 50 /50 chance it will seal it but worth a try
