Mend Indesit Machine Door Lock

How can I fix my machine?

I have an Indesit WEI167. It powers up and the door lock symbol illuminates as it should, but only for a few seconds, then goes off. The machine will then do nothing. I replaced the door switch but it made no difference. Can you help?
