Mend Indesit WIA121 Washing Machine Door Lock Repair

How too fix Indesit WIA121 washing machine?

hello,
Ive had my Indesit washing machine for about 2 and a half years now. its been a decent appliance till this week, in which it wont wash.
the problem i have is the door will not lock, the doors led flashes red when on? so it wont wash while the door is not locked. Ive tryed switching off the machine for a while and still the same, im close too buying a new one as the repair costs are like 160 pounds, abit less than buying a new one, but you know money is not flush.
im wondering if there is a quick fix for the door problem, its either a physical problem or something with the machines computer system which is not so advanced.
Any help is apprieciated.

yes maybe its the module, i dont know about opening up washing machines thou. I've called up indesit and arranged for a technician too come round next week. will cost about 160 pounds 4 me, which i will pay in isnatllments, so not so bad, and thats if they repair it when they come over.
i would have bought the module probably, but then too pay for a repair man too come round too fix it, yet ive already called indesit, so i'll stick with that. going too the laundrette at the moment, went today aswell, yet i dont wnat too get used too washing my clothes this way.
