starts,but will not run.?flymo,xlt 250?

engine starts on choke,but stalls when run is selected. the strimmer is,flymo xlt 250.

That problem is generally caused by a filter blockage. If I remember rightly there is a very small filter tucked away in the body the primer bulb is attached to. I had this problem and had to run the strimmer on half choke until I found the problem.
