Mend McCulloch MT280i Strimmer Petrol Carb

I have a petrol McCulloch strimmer MT280i 1993?

THE STRIMMER STARTS CHOKED, BUT ON OPENING CHOKE ENGINE STOPS, WILL NOT RUN WITH CHOKE OPEN. THE CARB SETTINGS ARE AS PER INSTRUCTION MANUAL. CAN YOU HELP PLEASE.

McCulloch McCulloch MT280i Garden Tools, Grass Trimmers Strimmer Petrol Carb

I had identical fault on same machine Mine was due to the fuel line being perished internally (fuel line from inside tank to carb,) Strimmer would start ok but when trigger pulled it stalled replaced line now ok
