I have a 9000 series alarm and I want to amend the number 3 zone option to include command 8 I have keyed in the engineers code 0 entre 7,8,9,0 and then 3 for zone + "entre" but the desplay does not flash with zone nuber. Can any body help?
Command 8 = Double knock night which allows a detector to trigger either twice in 5 mins or open circuit for longer than 10 seconds. all this info is stated in the installation manual issue 90/3.

Well I've had a good look through the manual and can't find any mention of 'command 8'.
Used this panel since it was introduced back in the dark ages, don't know what you are talking about, I'm keen to find out.
But, I won't hang around here after tomorrow eve (16th)

Where did you get that from and what is it supposed to do?
