Candy Grand GOC218?

As Previously suggested by a Candy Engineer i have purchased a replacement Element and removed the back plate to replace it with the old one.

However the black wire was too short to come out of the small hole and therefore fell back and there does not seem to be anyway to access it.

Is there an engineer that can advise how to fix this problem.

Candy will charge £119 + VAT to send someone out otherwise.
