How do I get to the element of a Cannon Henley 10588G?
I would like to check the element of a Cannon Henley 10588G
main oven.
I believe it is located around the fan at the back.
Have removed 4 screws from the back plate but a large knob prevents it from coming off. Have tried twisting it but this did
not release it.
What should I do to the knob to remove the back plate?
How much would a replacement element be?
the "knob" at the back is actually the glass lens that covers the oven bulb , it has to be un-screwed in anti-clockwise and then the back cover should come away revealing the element which is held in with one screw in the middle of the mounting bracket . the element is part number ELE006 or 620430 .
