Mend Vauxhall Corsa Top

clutch?

hi on my vauxhall corsa my bite is near the top and i have to put quit a lot of reeves on when i want to set off what could this be? does it mean my clutch is on its way out?

What model year? If it is an old one with a cable operated clutch it might just need adjusted, but afraid it is more likely the clutch needs replaced.
