Mend Vauxhall Corsa D Top Car

Corsa D 1.2 sxi front strutt top mount?

Hi took car to have tracking checked
they said it couldn't be tracked up as the struts were loose & said I needed some top mountings
is this normal as Ive never heard of the top mountings coming loose before

they don't come loose,rubber mountings can wear out but its not that often
