Mend Vauxhall Corsa 53 Plate

53 plate corsa?

My seat belt has jammed and I cannot release the seat becaus the release button on the top of the seat is broken too! The button goes down but it seems like it isn't pulling on anything to release the seat. Also the seat belt won't come out which I think is due to the seat not being able to lock back in position! Any help of how to fix it would help me very much

I have had other Vauxhalls where the seat belt is jammed unless the seat is locked in position,my guess is you don`t have a seat belt problem and you should focus on the seat repair,it may involve the seat removal and seat cover and pad removal for a look at your release mechanism,good luck.
