hot water on vokera boiler?

I had intermmitant hot water problems with my 2002 linea 28. ie with shower and running baths and general washing up!, removed and descaled primary heat exchanger (only 2 posi screws with hex sides for your info) descaled with some brick acid i had and flushed out with clean water, lots of crap came out! and while it was removed it was simple to remove sensor and when removed it had plenty of scale (was 8 years old!) replaced for a tenner plus vat, built back up and water problem solved! no doubt saved myself a fortune on calling out an engineer!

Had same problem. Also now heating comes on when control is at water only. Voker blames ph of water!!!!

It's the heat exchanger. Had exactly the same thing and, according to Vokera, it's a sign that the primary heat exchanger (about £75) is gunked up. Changed it and everything was fine.

its nothing to do with the pressure if the pressure was to low boiler gos in to lockout mode (shuts down) check the control dial on the front these boilers suffer from connection problems. (titch, whats the heating got to do with the hot water tap-----------nothing)

if its a combi boiler try toppin up your water pressuer on the central heating up to roughly 1.2 bar there should be a filling loop built into it at the bottom
