Mend Simpson Esprite 550 Cycle Washing

Loud squel during spin cycle?

My Simpson Esprite 550 washing machine is making a loud squel during the spin cycle not during the complete cycle only midway and again at the end. Any ideas what it could be please

Simpson Simpson Esprite 550 Household Appliances, Washing Machines Cycle Simpson Washing

Could be the main tub rubber seal dried out but most likely the bearings need changing. Either way the whole tub assembly will have to be removed and stripped down to replace the parts. Big job but should not be too expensive if you shop around and ask for quotes first.
