water level on my hotpoint washer?

water overfills and does not shut off water regardless of water level setting?

their is a solenoid valve where the inlet hose connect to machine with power supplied by 2 wires.if you use some logic you open this valve to check for dirt or a broken shut off pin inside valve.if you only use one inlet hose change the valves around or alternatively the wires on the valve to solve your problem
