Mend Ryobi Trimmer Spark Plug

How can I fix my ryobi gas trimmer?

I have a ryobi gas trimmer that is getting gas to the spark plug and will not start even after pulling the spark plug out and drying it off. How can I stop the gas from getting to the spark plug?
