Mend Toshiba RD-85DTSB Recorder Started Message

What does DR-Off mean?

My Toshiba RD-85DTSB hard drive recorder has started showing the above message and will not do anything including showing 'no signal' on the tv. Checked all the obvious wirings at the back and don't know what to do now?
