Mend Renault Clio Grande 2000 Key Start

clio grande 2000 wreg 1.2 starts only sometimes on key. ?

when i go to start my clio it sometimes does nothing . i turn the key and nothing ,turn it back off and back on then it starts. try it again ,same thing .car runs great good runs up to newcastle and back no problems.
