help with console?

i have a passap e6000 which has been out of use for a few years when i tried it the the yes buton on the console wouldnt work. i tried leaving it on for 2 days to warm itup but no joy can you help me please.

The battery needs to be charged up if when you switch it on it shows 'MEMO'. It takes a few hours then switch Off and then On again.
It will then startup but probably not in the right language. Select thr 'R' key and press 'No' until the right language is displayed, then press 'ENT'. The display then should show 'PROGR' press 'ENT' and then carry on.
