Kenwood virtical steam iron not getting hot enough?

Was working well,turned iron off for a few minuet's, then turnd back on but it would not get to temp requierd! Just stayed at cool temp!

do you have any suggestions? if so how do i remove the cassing front fixing to check ?

Model No ST 685, 220-240V.
