if you have just changed the filter and the filter light is still flashing hold down power button and steam button on the base and hold for a few seconds this should turn the light off. good luck hope this suggestion helps.

my filter light had been flashing continously since replacing with a new filter. I tried the suggestion of turning the iron on and pressing the steam button and it worked!! THANK YOU.. been bothering me for ages!

Don't bother ringing the Argos number, they are not having any in until New Year. I found one on the web but is nearly £12 without p&p

Had same problem, repaced filter light still flashing, found instruction book and it states " the filter must be replaced when filter replacement indicator light flashes.Press the variable steam control and the power on/off button to stop the light flashing" For replacement filter call Argos on 01733 404711. Worked for us. Good luck.
