Mend Renault 420dci Problem Hard Start

renault premium starting problem?

hi all, i have a 2001 renault premium 420dci wich is a bit hard to start but once going is fine any one got any idears how to solve this. also there is a yellow warning light on the dash its a circle with two arrows pointing outwards anyone no what that meens.

Have you checked all the glow plugs are working? if not easiest way is remove all the wires to the glow plugs attach a test light to the + on the battery then touch each plug in turn if it lights up plug should be ok

Poor starting would tend to point to glow plugs, can usually start without them, just difficult. Display, ?? do not know
