how do I get a broken double glazed unit out and replace?

As SD said, But if your beads/strips are on the outside of your conservatory you first need to remove the black rubber seal/gasket on the inside, these are externally beaded and are how early PVC windows were made. If you dont your beads will not budge.

The side strips, clip in place, I use chisels or scrapers to prise them out, I find it easier to use 2. start in middle of strip and push in the gap, then the second one to start levering it out, with care, you should not leave any mark, once 1st is out, could use a hook on the edge of the others, or same as 1st but you can start from end of it then. to get them back in, rubber mallet, or head of a hammer. Dont forget to mark which strip is from which position
