1. Remove interior light by pushing a small to medium sized slot head screwdriver down the middle of the left side of the light unit. (left = facing the front) There is a v shaped spring holding the light unit to the roof and the screwdriver flattens the spring, thereby releasing the light unit. The light unit can be held out of the way by the sun visor.
2. The bottom of the aerial base unit is revealed, but on mine it was not directly above the light - that's too easy!, but offset towards the front of the car. The nut is a torx 25?? and I could not get the torx screwdriver or 'L' shaped torx key to locate with the screw.
3. To solve the problem I placed a very very thin screwdriver directly underneath the torx nut and pierced a hole in the felt roof lining and then replaced this with the torx screwdriver and undid the nut. I then had an assistant to remove the old base, clean and dry the area concerned and reposition the new base whilst I held the screwdriver still. I then simply screwed the torx screw into the aerial base and replaced the light unit. Job done!
4. You can either leave the small hole as it is, it's not that noticeable, or can disguise it in some way from the back of the felt roof whilst the light is removed.
