Peugeot 807 wont start without easy start?

done all that... there is a oily residue on the air inlet where you spray the easy start... lost really :( any further advise?

thanks full diagnostic done was 30 faults!!!!!! reset all that... will look at the air leak you mention..have looked at the cost of pump aint cheap I know...mechanic mentioned the cam belt needing changing too...its a shame drives nice once you get it going!. thanks guys!! Have you checked the glow plug relay,.Also check the fuel lines for air leaks,.Although the system is self priming,any air leak will contribute to hard starting,usually accompanied by rough/lumpy idle.Have you had the car in for a diognostic reading.If the speed sensor or the fuel pump is the problem,then the car should present a error code.Diagnostic reading around 20 quid from most garages,fuel pump not so cheap.

remove the filter and check for filings/swarf in there,if any then this may point to your pump at fault.
