Mend Hoover 5146 Water Leak Underside

Water leak by filter on HOOVER SLIMLINE washer 5146?

Constant drip on underside of washing machine by filter when machine is operating, and filter full of water when removed. The model is a Hoover top loader slimline washing machine. Model 5146.
