How am I suppose to clean filter OR washing machine for an OMEGA WD 1052?

Question:
Appears there is a slight odour from my OMEGA WD 1052 washing machine and not sure if I am suppose to regularly clean a filter OR if there is some sort of regular routine clean that I am suppose to do post washes?
The instruction booklet doesnt detail any information.
