Mend Hotpoint WF860 Machine Starts Flashes

Hotpoint Ultima WF860 will not fill?

the machine starts to fill then stops and H2o flashes. Have checked water supply and is good. Cleaned the inlet valve. If I manually fill through detergent drawer the cycle continues but stops again at rinse cycle.
