Why do i have heat when I dont need it???

When I switch the hot water on the central heating comes on too even though it is switched off and the dial turned to summer any suggestions before I call the engineer??

Hi Hector,
I am having the exact same problem with my boiler. Have you found the solution yet? I'm a little reluctant to get an engineer out as the boiler is installed in an awkward space which means i have to dismantle the cupboard first!!
Is there a simple solution?
