HOT PINK MK4 GHD STRAIGHTENERS:Dont heat up????

The same things happened to mine.. I got mine last christmas and have had problems with them.. any idea's of how i can fix them?

Having same problem. How did you resolve it? Did you drop it and that is what broke it? Mine is also hot pink.

Mine are also hot pink and i've had them since xmas, now only 1 plate is heating up? I've been on the GHD website, tried to verify it and it's not recognized??

yes mine do exactly the same thing sometimes you can buy them from the official ghd sites/shops and unfortunately are second hand due to lack of organisation between company arguments you will have to either go back and complain or buy a heat pump at a standard retail price of £30-£40 pound I just took my ghd straighteners back and got them at a good sale price of £70 pound not to mention the money i got back for the straighteners so jokes on them

If you purchased these straighteners from an outlet with a chinese invoice and you paid under the current market value the chances are they are not genuine GHD'S!!! If they are genuine GHD will recognise the serial number and be able to help you-if not try contacting your credit card company (if you paid by credit card) and they may give you a refund if you have purchased them recently and they are not outside of the warranty.
