i have just moved into a flat and the vents in the 2 bedrooms dont warm up the room as effeciently as the rest of the flat
I switched on the johnson and starley unit for 7 hours which warmed up the rest of the flat with no problem but heat from the vents in the bedrooms trickles out very slowly-I am not sure whether i need to leave this on longer, or if theres a problem or if this is as good as it gets-in which case I am considering installing radiators! any tips would be appreciated
Thanks, I cant adjust the setting as its just vents in the rooms (as opposed to fans)with levers down the side to open/close the vents. Theres a main control setting on the johnson and starley unit to adjust the time and when it comes on
However I will try cleaning grill on this unit to see if it makes a difference

As Tony S says check the air filter is clean
You could adjust the air registers, close down the nearest to the heater or there may be a lever in the duct work that has a flap attached in the heater compartment which will open and close to balance the air flow

The ducts are already fitted into the floor,so unfortunately you will struggle to deflect heat to the rooms that are not performing. There is a speed restrictor on the fan which can be altered, the slower you run the fan the warmer the air delivered,so change it to setting 2 and see what happens. Also make sure the filter is clear.
