I had a new timer installed last year but can't find the receipt. Am sure it was done only about 9months ago. Anyway the timer seems to be failing again. At the moment I can manually turn the timer through each stage of the washing cycle, the only difference this time is when the knob of the timer gets to the stage that it should
automatically go to the next stage, its making a small whirling noise which then stops but does not move along as expected.
could the timer have developed a problem that can be solved as the timer itself is only approx 8 months old.
Im having to move the timer switch manually through each cycle and it takes ages as I keep forgetting to go back to the machine as I get so busy.
