You don't need a 'reset code', your user code is all you need.

Correcting the Tamper fault will solve your problem.

Tamper is a fault with a component of the alarm system, the panel is doing what it is supposed to do in these circumstances, telling you.

As you obviously know nothing about how your alarm works I would strongly suggest that you get someone in.

This is not what I think the problem is, but, have you ever replaced the battery?
Should be done every 5yrs if not sooner if needed.
Rechargeable batts. do not last for ever, even less than 5yrs if in an airing cupboard
