How can I fix my cordless phone it has suddenly stopped working?

Model:philiphs 'onus fox 200'...no sign of life I.e. Battery sign stopped displaying..no sign of charging...not recieving incoming calls...it will ring.. But remains dead when answered...no sign of any connected tone...I have done everything as required from the instruction book..to no avail
