what is this part called?

I have a Hotpoint wf541. If I am looking into the machine from the back, there is a part to the left which is a black hose near the front of the machine, it has split and when the machine fills up it pours water from it! thank you

Hi! The only hose I know of on the left side of a WF range machine if your looking at it from the rear is the pressure hose but it is a small bore hose and is connected to the pressure switch. If there was a hole in this hose the machine would over fill rather than leak, all the main fill and inlet hoses are on the right as you view them from the back. www.selfix-uk.co.uk
