NTL D4900 HANDSET VOLUME?

We have the above telephone with two handsets but the volume is very low on one of tem and we have lost the manual and cant adjust it. Anyone either got a manual or can tell me what to do, my friends think I am not speaking to them, but I simply can hear them! Thanks in advance.
