Lost Manual for cordless phone NTL VS2000/VS205 but can't access one from www.telephones4u.co.uk
I need to change outgoing Answerphone message to receive messages but can't remember how.
i would like to increase ring tons on my phone before it goes to auto answer

This is for the 3 pack version but includes the base unit vs2000

It's actually button 8 ( says on/off underneath it !) then button 1 to turn the answer facility on and off !

To set the Answering Maching to answer & record on the prerecorded msg, press the clear/mute button on extreme top RHS. Display shows TAD ON. Press 7 button, then 1 button. You will hear a confirmation beep & display will revert to TAD ON. Press & HOLD the clear/mute button again until display returns to normal. Hope this helps, it's a paraphrase of the actual manual..
