How do I lengthen stitch size more on my phaff 145?

It only gets to a bout 1/8 and I am trying to get it to go to almost 3/16 length, for top stitch on leather and wondering if I can make an adjustment to lengthen the stitch

Hello Katherine,
If you are sewing on leather it probably won't feed through as it should because leather gives off enough moisture to hold back the leather, put talcum powder on the leather and slacken off the pressure on the foot.
