Mend Peugeot 306 Radio Problem Battery

Peugeot 306 radio?

We have the same problem as Raja (April 2011) The battery was flat the code bar came on radio, put in the correct code and the numbers just stay there, nothing happens. Pressed the BND nothing happens even after turning the ignition off and leaving overnight. Also the little red light does not come on under the ON/VOL button, any help please.
