Kenmore electric 80 series dryer shuts off after awhile?

My dryer will run with heat for about 10 minutes and then shut off...and won't start until it cools off...it seems.I have replaced the high limit thermostat and internal bias operating thermostat from sears. I noticed one more sensor looking device near the top of the hearing element... it seems heat related due to even if I run on 'delicate' heat it still gets too hot and shuts off. I thought the sensors I replace regulated how hot it gets? Thank you for any help. David
